Alona Horner, Executive Director
Alona comes to us from HealthPoint where she managed and grew programs such as the School Base Health Clinics, a mobile medical van program, nurses in homeless shelters and nurses’ support for Early Head Start and Head Start programs. Alona is excited to utilize her school base experience and transfer her nonprofit management skills to the dental field. Alona has a long history of supporting programs with a youth focus, as this is where her passion lies. Alona’s goals include preserving the passion and mission of Smile Partner’s while finding areas of growth. Alona wishes to contribute to the success of Smile Partners and looks forward to supporting the team in their crucial work.
Gabby helps us with our in house administrative work, working with our on-site team to ensure supplies and inventory are stocked, and answer any questions you may have.
Richele Strong, Pre-school Program Manager
Richele is the Pre-School Program manager. She oversees the growth and operations of the program., while supporting the Pre-School team. Richele’s background as a para-educator, along with her experience in speech communication, public relations, and marketing, give her the ability to specialize communication to any audience, and connect with parents, teacher, and the community.
Whitney Littlefield, Community
Whitney is the Community Engagement Coordinator at Smile Partners. She serves as the direct liaison between Smile Partners and schools, parents, and other stakeholders. Whitney also assists in fundraising and communications.
Whitney graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2017. While there, she worked as the Auction Procurement Assistant in the Department of College Advancement, where she helped plan and procure auction items for the schools biggest fundraiser, The Art of Giving.
Whitney enjoys work that positively impacts others, and looks forward to a career in the non-profit sector.
Our Dental Hygiene Team
Our hygienists are registered and license through Washington State with their school based dental sealant endorsement as required by state law (RCW 43.70.650). They specialize in working with children with specific chair side manner to ensure our patients are comfortable and having fun. Their unique skill to imprint oral hygiene education one-on-one with students are what makes our students excited to see Smile Partners year after year.

Our clinic coordinators are community health passion driven individuals that come to us from various backgrounds. Yet, everyone has one common goal of providing the highest quality of care in un-traditional settings. These team members support our school clinical flow, process data, and can answer your on-site school question. If you see them, please don’t be shy to say hi!
